Hey Newbe,
As has been stated, the PU coil assembly is no longer available NEW. It's very rare for the actual coils to go bad, 99% of the time it's just the wires wearing cracks in them from the constant flexing, and can be replaced with test meter lead wire from RS or such! There is a tech tip on how to replace/repair the PU coil wires. Get your mechanic to view it and then do the tests on the wires, you'll probably find that they will hourglass when you tug on them with some decent tension!
You might be able to find some USED ones on EBAY or from a fellow Xsive on here that is a quality used parts broker ANDREAS WEISS!

The part # you gave (3H5-81671-10-00) is the entire PU coil assembly, which is no longer available unless you sniff out a used one. If you just need the pulse coils, they are available new from Yamaha, part # 3H5-81676-10-00, for $130. You can check 'em out here.....

Most likely, the coils are fine, but the connecting wires are broken. Can you point your mechanic to this tech tip?Ken Talbot
