That i don't know. You would have to maybe get on a maxim or virago website to tell you rim size, etc about the bike and related parts swap.Good luck!

          Ok thanks.

I sure do like those rims better than the ones I have.

I may pass on the bike, but I hate to for the price

The front rim MAY fit, but the rear WILL NOT. That's probably a 650 or 750 MNS, and as such, most of the parts are too small for the XS1100.

I place my bets on an 81 Midnight Special. Has the same wheels and reflector for sure.

                    Well Andy,

I hate to say it but with the drum brake rear wheel, it won't work with your 11. The drum brake portion is molded into the wheel hub, whereas with the 11, the rotor just bolts onto the hub. The front wheel will probably work, most are 19" in that era, wouldn't hurt to ask the guy for the size of the front wheel, but you would have to find another swirley rear wheel from an XJ or MNS. I was looking thru the microfiche but couldn't find an exact model match in the 82 or 83 models. The photo also looks like it only has 1 caliper up front. For these bikes it's not a problem putting on the 2nd rotor because Yamaha usually cut the rims for mounting dual rotors.

Also don't know if you would be willing to use brake drum rear vs. disc, but also don't know if the driveshaft spline assembly would mate, or if you would be able to swap one from the XS11 onto this one??

Thanks for all the helpful information.

I guess I'll pass on it.

I can get it for less than $100 but if I cant use any of it, its kinda pointless Im guessing.
