Footpeg rubbers?

Everytime I've called Boats.net on old parts they list, they did not have them in stock... I wouldn't order without calling them first.

you called it man - they just cancelled my order.

There has to be a way of upgrading these footrests. The MikesXS covers are only a bandaid. I don't have access to much of an aftermarket here at the end of the world, but has anyone managed to make a Franken-footrest that combines aftermarket parts with the OEM support bracket?

Somebody on here has I think Goldwing aftermarket pegs on the stock brackets. I think he had to do some tweaking to get them to sit right, but I too am interested in just what we can do as mine are crap (my left foot rides on metal) and I want something both comfortable and decent looking.
