I paid $50 for one more complete than that.
I'll have about $800 into when I'm done.
Abused or neglected bikes with no titles are not worth much. It is a hassle to wait for a clear title. I've learned enough through this site and working through this one I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another one at the right price.
Hard to argue with the '79 listed at $1200. You can offer less!
Should have mine rolling in the next couple of weeks.

I bought two 79 XS's a 82 XJ and a 80 MNS parts pile for less than half of that. The XS's and the XJ were complete but for minor stuff....

Save the gas to go look...
