Nashbar Seat Quick Release length?

Anyone ordered the Nashbar quick release for an 80SG? They offer three lengths and I'm wondering which is correct, 45mm, 50mmm or 55mm?
I'm thinking if no one knows that I'll order the long one and cut it back as needed.

Hi GNW,
as I have long considered that the XS11SG seat release design is less than optimum, I googled "Nashbar quick release" and all the hits I opened showed those quick release pins you get on high-end bicycles.
Got a link to a Nashbar that's motorcycle seat appropriate?

I'm looking to do the same mod, I don't think it matters too much, since they all seem long. I guess you can't go wrong planning to cut back.

I like that! I bet if I take the dog for a walk, I should be able to find a few of those scooters laying in people's front lawns!

An update to my installation of the quick-release mod.
One of them fell out and it's being held on with one. Been that way for over a year. Guess my fat butt holds the seat on at speed.

One of them fell out and it's being held on with one. Been that way for over a year. Guess my fat butt holds the seat on at speed.

I bought the clamp things (took trips to 5 different quality bike shops to find them), for $10 each. Got them home, and I can see why one fell out. They don't have enough travel when clamping to squish the rubber pumpers tight enough to hold any real tension on the seat. I need at least 1/2" of travel to clamp the seat down tight. I'm gonna return the clamps and look for some metric wing nuts that will screw onto the original bolts. That way I can take them off by hand, and still get the clamping power I need.
