fairing removal

  • fairing removal

    i have a 79 standard with a full yamaha fairing. has anybody removed this and went to headlight and turnsignals on the fork. is it plug and play on electrical, what parts do i need to acquire any help would be appreciated.

    It is plug and play on the electrical. you will need a headlight bucket, trim ring and headlight, the headlight mounting ears, headlight reflectors,front turn signals and the signal mounts that go on the forks.

        Not to remove the fairing or bracket. Unbolt the fairing from the bracket and then remove the bracket. If the headlight ears are not on the forks then you will have to remove the forks from the triple tree to install them.
