  • Rear springs

I would like to change the springs on my progressive shocks. They bottom out enough to want a change. I have new springs but am wondering if it's better to let a shop do it or is there a jig I can make or tool I can buy. I did a seach but there is not much on changing rear shock springs.

    home made spring compressor

This one I made myself and it works great. You can also add a spacer and a washer or two in between the spring and preload adjuster to beef up the spring.
