A couple questions have come up about the Honda trail 90 shifter I put on my XJ. Here are three photos I took this morning:
Last photo shows the small relief I ground in the shifter so it would not hit the foot peg bracket when I shift. You can also experiment with the foot peg mount; it will rotate forward and back if you loosen the bolt, perhaps the relief is not necessary. Another option is to grind down the top of the bracket. Otherwise it was a bolt-on operation. Shifter is mounted 1 spline counter-clockwise from the original lever; this makes it more comfortable for me but is a matter of personal taste.
