I also run the EliteII, i like the raised white letters and they do wear very well

I ran a Dunlop 404 and got less than 4700 miles out of it..

Hey Denny,
I put a 404 on my front about 2 years ago because it had the same tread pattern as the Elite II, but it's not as durable a tire, rated at less weight, but being on the front I felt it wouldn't see as much stress load as the rear, and the price was right, we'll see how many years/k miles I get out of it, but I don't think I would put one on the rear! YMMV!

I have the K491 (Elite II) on my E. Dunlop 501 on my LG. The 501's last about a year, the 491's have been on there 3 or so.Pat Kelly
