  • oil drain washer ref

    anybody knows on how to get a replacement washer for the oil drain?

    any make do look alike ducted it did it?

    otherwise I'll look to buy online but I'd hate to be stranded that long

    Hi Greg,
    nearest NAPA store or equivalent? Take the drain bolt with you to make sure you get the correct size. Any copper or aluminum or red fiber washer that fits will work. Or go upmarket with a bonded sealing washer.

        Even with a brand new bolt and washer mine leaked so i put some Teflon tape on the threads and that stopped the leak.

          Even with a brand new bolt and washer mine leaked so i put some Teflon tape on the threads and that stopped the leak.
          Yeah, good idea, oldyam80sg. I always use a new crush washer, teflon tape on the bolt threads, and spread a little RTV on the washer. Never had a leak yet.
