OK. I think the PO removed mine.

    What do you all think??

If I remember correctly with out it my Hi Beam will not come on if my Low Beam dies?

Is this why my headlight does not come on until I start the bike also?

    Thanks all

That is a standard feature, the light doesn't come on until you start the bike. I'm sure it is so all the power goes to the starter.

Head light is turned on by the head light relay.
The relay is activated by the AC generator.
(the wire from generator has an in-line diode to make DC current for the relay)

Geez, that was unintelligible! It should have read, "I don't know what is going on inside the tape, but take a look at the way I bypassed all of mine:"
