I have five wires coming from tci going to advance unit on left side of engine, i have four hooked up . the fifth wire makes my nuetral light come on but i haven't hooke it up to anything does anyone know where this wire might go.

It connects to the neutral indicator switch located under the left side of the engine between the edge of the oil pan and the frame rail. You may have to get under the bike to see it - it's kind of inset. It looks kind of like a broken-off spark plug with a screw on the end to attach the wire.Tim Ripley - Gaithersburg, MD

Go to the MAIN menu page, and THEN to the "Tech Tips". Look at the "pickup coil" fix. The wires are KNOWN for breaking internally. They look good, but don't work. The tip will explain everything. HTHRay Matteis
