i've seen 2 in great condition within the past year on rochester craigslist, and a few more on ebay. There not common, and when i do see them they do pretty well $, but those numbers seem awfully low based on what i've seen.

I am the original owner of mine and when I bought mine there were two sitting on the show room floor. I don't know how many were actually produced but I don't believe that 250 is the correct number.2 - 80 LGs bought one new

With a starting number of 4H3-000101 and my number 4H3-002447 I think that means more then 250 made.

I once worked at a very large Yamaha dealer in Oregon and we had several of them on the floor at one time.
Yamaha was just learning that the black bike sells at the time and there were more MNS made of other models of the later bikes than the XS11.
