Just bought an xs11 1980 special. My first bike. Fuel is leaking from somewhere under the right fuel petcock. I have not removed the tank (tomorrow). Does anyone have suggestions on a fix. Even in the off position, fuel is dripping at a drop every two or three seconds. Dripping gets worse when the petcock is in the on and reserve position.

Currently bikeless. Sold my 1980 XS1100 Special -
It might be the rubber gasket in the petcock.Take it apart and you might be able to clean it up and reuse it.If not you can get a rebuild kit for it.Also the o-ring between petcock and tank can leak.80 SG XS1100

If tank is not rusted out,
then one of these should solve problem.
