So I'm goofing around with the horns cuz they suck and I get them put back together and they still suck. Oh well, time for new ones.
Then I go to start the bike and it won't. Turns over but no fire.
Eventually it starts and I think "Must of been no fuel in the carbs from removing the tank or something".
Shut it down and restart...OK.
I go to ride to work and put it in nuetral with it on the side stand and no fire again. Pull in the clutch...it fires. Let out the clutch...it dies.
Put the side stand up, in neutral..it fires with the clutch in or out.
Put the side stand down, clutch out...no fire.
Side stand down, clutch in...it fires!
So, is it the clutch switch, the neutral switch in the tranny, or the side stand switch? This multi-switch interactivity confuddles me! By the way, the neutral light works ok. (does that mean the neutral switch in the tranny is ok?)
Little help please, today was a beautiful day for a ride! Had to drive the cage, didn't want to risk it dying on the freeway!
