Guess I may as well post a reply every day. At least then there is something to read as opposed to eternal nothingness. Possibly I could do a short reading of the bible every day, might even help a member or two that way.

        gas mileage

I was getting 40+ mpg on my 79SF. I fixed the leaky intake boots and now I'm getting 34mpg. Runs a hell of a lot better now though

          Hi Rasputin,
to relieve the eternal nothingness and should you wish it, I could arrange for two incredibly sincere Jehova's Witnesses to call on you.
Or two equally sincere Elders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
          Perhaps at the same time.
You could sell tickets for a thing like that.

The Jehova's will never ever come back here due to an incident here. Suffice it to say I was permanently removed from their visit list! Not necessarily one of my proudest moments nor is it one I can relate here as the content would be bleeped out. If my mother knew I would be disowned!
Good thing though is at least as long as this thread is alive we are making use of it.

You must live in a good neighborhood. The JW's that dare to tread here are always two 20 something males, in white shirts and black suits and ties.

Ahh, but you forget, this is the thread that will not die.

Before you turn out the lights, be sure to record how much milage we got out of this thread in the last few days.

                          Hi Zapper,
you sure they were Witnesses? Your description makes them sound more like Saints.
My JW collection varies, mostly some dear old gent in a nice suit clutching a Bible but I've had pairs of mature ladies and one time, a trio including whatever they have instead of a Bishop. My Saints always come in matched pairs, exactly as you describe.
Thing is, I'm retired so I can spend the time. What I do is try to convert them to Catholicism (I don't tell them I ain't one) explaining that the Catholic version of Christianity has the best robes and ceremonies and some really nice ceilings plus they don't send folks around the neighborhood to pester people.

I just tell them I am way to busy to chat at the moment. Then ask them for their home address so I can pop in on them when I feel like it. When they refuse to give out the info, which they always do, I ask why it is God would ask them to only fill me with his spirit at my house and not at their own? I never get the same ones twice, and generally none at all.

Well, I think this thread originally had the potential to gather some good information. It has morphed to "left field." I would recommend that you take this kind of religious chat to the other forum ... just sayin, this is a tech forum as I understand it.
