OK got master cylinder off how do I remove piston to go over have feeling person who did rebuild allowed gasket to unseat but again don't want to break anything getting in there

Fddlefoot - Take the handle off, and you will see a rubber boot. Carefully remove the rubber boot - they're easy to tear. You should see a circlip down in the recess. Remove the circlip and you will be able to remove the plunger assembly. It's pretty deep for regular snapring pliers. I used a couple dental picks to get mine out.I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

No biggie, topics scroll off the pages very quickly around here. I did a search using the actual search button, typed in "front master cylinder piston" and found a whole page of threads, but remembered seeing that one from Tucman recently....I need to copy it and make a tech tip!! I didn't reread it just now, can't remember if he mentioned needing the special longer tipped C-ring pliers to get down in there...sold on Mikesxs.com, but folks have modified some cheap needlenose pliers for the same thing!
