    True

    You're right, I'm sorry.

It's just hard to understand what he's trying to say, much less give an answer. Maybe he doesn't even want an answer.
What does a burned bearing/rod sound like anyway?

      dunno,

Rods,I have never heard one before.....burnt pistons yes. bearings, ones that have seized and spun, yes.

I once snapped a connecting rod in three on a alcohol burning lawn mower i built in my high school shop class.....bad news...lol

I would expect a burned/bearing rod to emit no sound.

It makes the EXACT sound that hundreds of dollars make!

What I got to thinking about, is if he knocked out the crank bearings enough to where it's wobbling a bit... the rotor rubbing on the stator (There's not much clearance there) does make that sort of chirping noise...... I'm really sorry that I know these things for a fact.

Bad rod bearings will knock.. thump, actually.
Easy to find mit der stethoscope.
Sometimes will knock all the time, sometimes only under load.
Put the bike on the centerstand and fire it up. Put it in gear and let the rear wheel turn. Slowly apply the rear brake to load the engine. Oh, she'll start knocking then.
When knocking at idle... pull the plug wires one by one. When the knocking stops, you've found the bad piston/rod.
            Chirping...?
Lack of lubrication somewhere. Overheated rings... destroyed bearings....
Of course, chirping sounds a lot like squeaking and hissing... could also be a loose header or a leaking exhaust gasket.

I became troubled when I began hearing an abnormal squeaking/chirping sound from the piston area. Was real worried that I would have to do a rebuild. Then one day out of curiosity, I tightened the exhaust flange bolts. Problem solved. Thank goodness.

                        Giberish, That's what that is.....

                        Funny thing....I understand giberish...

It would seem that you believe the XS may need oil mixed in the gas, not sure if you mean in the engine or in the tank....both are false
                        also....
chirping, or whirping as you describe it no matters where it comes from, isn't normal...and there is a reason for it
you say its while cruising....yet give no details on speed, rpm, what gear

really need more info....even a translator would help....
