Still getting the carbs figured out.
I have everything running smooth. GOt the new manometer and checked my synch job. I had them pretty close using the 2 guage method.
I have the idle mixtures as close as I can get, using a tach.
The bike runs smooth, starts right up cold or hot, little cranking if it's 3/4 warm.
Fuel mileage is getting better.
Only issue now is it seems to lay down in the high rpm. If I run it to 8,000rpm it will pull ok in 1st and 2nd, 3rd it takes a little longer, 4th would take a while and I doubt it can get to 8,000 in 5th.
I am wondering if my S&S pipes would be making it require a rejet. They are full length, but straight through. Everything else is stock. I have a K&N airfilter, but did not drill the airbox.
I find the bike lacks power until about 3500rpm then it realy takes off until 6,000-7,000ish then it just doesn't pull as hard.
