Very nice bike I must say but...
Man o man chopper, rigid frame?! I'd have to go with an amen savior on that one. Rough roads can be he11 on the posterior!
Ride that copper safe.

thanks for posting those wayne i love rigids they are actually quite comfortable if you set the bars, pegs and seat to fit your body size. around 60% of the bumps are absorbed by the tyre on a bike anyway, just learn to avoid potholes! or you can bite your tongue...lol
I like Micks approach - it always amazes me the amount of engineering and work that goes into changes like that - I've spent many a wet afternoon at a UK rally looking closely at such bikes. I have to admit that I've never gone the custom route myself, never mind a hard-tail - in fact my XS is pretty standard.
I get quite interested in the idea of changing something to suit personnal preferences, and shape/size etc. Something about a customized bike (as worked on by the owner) that seems to show more connection with the owner - there's more of a personal expression in the finished article.
All that coming from a standard bike owner eh?
Thought you may like to see the attached picture I came across for more ideas.
