    Chopper asked me to post his picts for all to see, so here they are.

      Very nice bike I must say but...
      Man o man chopper, rigid frame?! I'd have to go with an amen savior on that one. Rough roads can be he11 on the posterior!

          thanks for posting those wayne i love rigids they are actually quite comfortable if you set the bars,pegs and seat to fit your body size. around 60% of the bumps are absorbed by the tyre on a bike anyway,just learn to avoid potholes! or you can bite your tongue...lol

                      I like Micks approach - it always amazes me the amount of engineering and work that goes into changes like that - I've spent many a wet afternoon at a UK rally looking closely at such bikes. I have to admit that I've never gone the custom route myself, never mind a hard-tail - in fact my XS is pretty standard.

                      I get quite interested in the idea of changing something to suit personnal preferences, and shape/size etc. Something about a customized bike (as worked on by the owner) that seems to show more connection with the owner - there's more of a personal expression in the finished article.

                      All that coming from a standard bike owner eh?

                      Thought you may like to see the attached picture I came across for more ideas.
