      unlike O.J.'s Glove

good news. Is there any slack (or too much) that you notice. This aftermarket one I have has too much for my style....chop

        Play

It has a slight amount of play (rattle), but I think if it was any tighter it might bind. But I think you are right about the OEM. My Standard still has the original OEM, and there is a little less play. Could it have anything to do with the chrome thickness of the handlebars?

It would appear that the grip assembly from yamaha is 2H7-26240-00-00 for both the 1100SF and 650SF so I would assume it would fit.

              sleeve

NO, it fits nicely on the 'BUSA bars, but there is about 1/4 back return before it pulls the throttle at the carbs. I think Bikerphil cleared it up. I will get one from MIKESXS....MrO, That pic looks like an albino joystick from an old ATARI 2600 ....chop

                  MMMMM.....OEM

Definitly back to where it should be...just a tad rattle of slack before throttle....Thanks MrO. I also mic'd the stock one at the stop position and marked the aftermarket accordingly so I can run a stainless machine screw in the plastic for my next project...waste not, want not.....chop
