  • Self revving

I guess I don't really need help bt thought everyone could get some amusement out of this.
Everytime I'm manouvering the bike - ie backing it in to a parking spot - and I go all the way to the right with the handlebars, my bike revs up to about 5k
I've had some real funny looks from people who obviously think I'm doing it either for attention, or because I can't handke the weight.
I would guess that I have caught the throttle cable when I tidied up after installing my new coils and wires with a cable tie - guess I'll have to sort it out some time.

I usually leave the throttle cable dangling by itself and i don't zip tie it to anything. It kind of lays along side the wiring harness.

      throttle cable

There is a cable slack adjustment at the top end of the throttle cable. Loosen the lock nut and thread in the sleeve to create a little slack if needed.

        cable with a mind

I had to re-route mine to a place where that didnt happen . With my different bars I had an excess of cable/casing .

Tha manual says that you should have 10 degress of throttle grip rotational play in the throttle cable. I guess your problem is one of the reasons for this...
