    I bought a xs1100 with no mufflers just the pipes off the heads and 1 got bent removing it from the truck. So does anyone have a good sugestion for a lower priced exahust, im looking for a quick throttle response for mid to high rpm.

    Mac is the only company that even makes them anymore. There are some European companies that I've heard of that build them but you will pay many more times the amount that you paid for the bike. I've been waiting for a MAC 4 to 1 from Dennis Kirk for two months now... You'll sometimes see used OEM and new/used after-market systems on Ebay. Good luck.

        Hey Bamper,

        Aside from what has been mentioned which is true about the availability, or lack thereof, as for the performance range you want, you'll want to look into the 4-1 style. They are usually tuned to scavange better in the mid/higher rpm ranges. If you want lower end rpm grunt, then it's suggested to go with 4-2 style!

          Years ago i thought Dennis Kirk had Kerker/Supertrapp exhaust systems in stock.That was a few years ago.My Kerker is still on my SG after 22 years.Also try Starcycle in CA.
