Hi All,
Haven't been on here in a while........
Anyway, no not a spin off from the Meatloaf song....lol.....Been doing my usual spring prep when decided to pull carbs and lean float 1 mm more. Had still been working with a slight rich condition. Floats @ 23mm, mix screws @ 3/4 out. Results are #1 - a bit lean, #2 & #3 are spot-on. #4 however still rich. Looks like will be going back in. Looking at the needle/seat & o-ring for possible culprit. Any one ever run into Choke/Enrichment circuit problems causing rich condition?
Did have a little scare...............Checked valves, all with in tolerance, Adj. cam chain, & yes I herd the plunger tighten up..OK. While warming engine for oil/filter change, started out smooth & quite, when the terrible top end noise started! CRAP!!!!!!!!!! What now!
After some disconcerting time.......proceeded to change oil & filter and recheck cam chain adjustment. Sure enough, the threads in the housing were striped, did feel a little spongy. Removed tensioner and installed HeliCoil. Does require small punch to break off that little tab off the coil after install to allow bolt to tighten the plunger. Reinstalled & Adj.----good to go! Will be getting new one soon.

As it turned out, apparently didn't have good charge in batt. Kill switch was my first thought too Ray. After doing multiple continuity tests, started checking voltage. Red/White & Blue coming out of solenoid----1.8v, blue @ starter button----1.8v hummmm? 10.2 batt. voltage. Well CRAP!
