Couldn’t I just take the bolt out and fit this

As long as it doesn’t go over the oil feed inside??

    Thanks Andy

No, Andy, the threads inside that hole don't begin until about an inch into the hole, and you WILL cover up the tranny oil feed. Pull the existing banjo bolt and you'll see what I mean.

        Additionally

There is a small hole in the center to limit the oil to the tranny should something come loose in there so it don't starve the bottom end should a large leak develope in there.

            Adapter cost

The Stainless material costs about $4.50, $10 for machining, the guage is $8.20 and the 90 degree fitting probably around $1.50 which adds up to $24.20. Probably more than you want to pay for an oil pressure guage. I will make the pictured part (adapter only) for $15 and you can find a guage and 90 degree fitting. The other option is to get an electronic gauge for the dash and put a "T" fitting where the oil pressure light sending unit is, install the sending unit there and have a dash mount guage. JC Whitney has a nice selection of guages.

              Hi Andy,

How about a BSP tee piece into the hole for the switch, then the switch and gauge into the tee?

Not as "profesional" as planedick's solution, but quicker and cheaper.

                Thanks Alan

But I like the "professional" look of the gauge out the side of the engine

                planedick

I Have already got a gauge, What would the shipping be to the uk for the adapter?

                Thanks

                  Shipping

I don't have a clue what it costs to ship it to the UK, I will go to the PO and ask.

                      Ship to UK

Andy, the Post Office says regular mail to UK for that would be about $5

                          Paypal

I'm sure I have paypal, as I have sent money on E-bay, but they make it so automatic I have no idea how to use it outside of e-bay. Am I supposed to request payment or what????? I'll need an addy too. Also I need to make it yet.... Tomorrow is full, but I can probably get at it on Wednesday....
