If all of your tac's are doing the same thing then it is likely to be an elctrical connection as has been discussed.
One other thing that I have noticed on mine however. You have been saying that the weather is lousy there at the time, you have not mentioned the temps. When I first get the Dragon out in the spring the tac always fluctuates like you have mentioned until it warms up a little more. I have tried everything including some dry lube and the problem is still there. Mentioned it to the PO one time a few years back and he said that it had always done it. Maybe the things are allergic to cold weather??
Dont know if anyone else has noticed this but if they have they will chime in. Maybe Fredintoon would know, he also lives where it never seems to get warm enough soon enough.
Had the Dragon out and on the loose last Thursday, sun had melted enough of the icebergs in the driveway to where I could pick my way out to the road. Got a whole four miles on her and then winter returned to Wisconsin, DRAT!!!
