MAC does still make a 4-1 but I do not know for how long. Exhaust parts for our breed seem to be falling off the market very fast as there is not much demand anymore.

At the prices they are charging for a system, it is almost becoming feasible for those so inclined to make their own stainless headers and fit some aftermarket mufflers. Anyone interested in gearing up to do this?

Once you un-can a can of worms, the only way to re-can them is with a bigger can.

      Re: Bassini

xschop, you may want to look into extending the forks at the top not only to gain ground clearance with the bike upright, but also to re-gain the clearance when leaning in a turn as the stock bike scrapes both sides of the motor pretty easy and it is a major limitation on how fast you can go. Another reason is to restore the rake/trail for stability. I have seen people use the the extenders at the yop (just tubes that thread into the existing tubes, and accept the stock caps, with the internal rod extended as well)
