I forgot to add that the radio antenna mount is a stainless C.B. antenna mount for cars, available at most auto parts stores. If you use a car radio antenna you have to enlarge the antenna hole to fit the larger base. It is hard stainless so most drill bits won't work , I had a friend punch it out on an industrial press. I slipped it behind the saddlebag mount and used the guard bolt and one of the bracket holes to mount it

Thanks Doug, the front end looked kinda light compared to the rest of the bike after I added the fairng and bags and all so the "boots" on the forks seemed to "beef" it up a bit. Seems to help protect the sliders from grit and dirt as well.

Yup had an old 450 Honda Black Bomber with them as well as my Trimuph Bonnie! Welcome to the site Cam! Hope you are gonna go to the PA rally in May. There are 2 members from Ont going that i know of . If you do ill see you there. The rallies are great i have been going to them since 2001. Even had one here in NB in2004.

Thanks, I 'd like to get to these rallies but timing and distance sometimes make it impossible. My Buddy and I ride to the Americade Rally each year in Lake George NY so that's usually our trip for the year. It's become kind of tradition. We go down and do the demo rides and see the latest accessories and sights etc.

The nice thing is that I ride about 6 of the new bikes but I'm still happy to climb back on my old XS ! Still love it after all these years! I've had it about 9 years now.
