I believe they call this 'provenance' - makes it worth a few more bucks at a Barrett-Jackson auction!

        Ah, the Barrett-Jackson

What wonderful programming. Kat enjoys watching it as much as I do.

          Barrett-Jackson??

I was thinking more along the lines of

          Antiques RoadShow!

Hey Dan, that BHP value, isn't that Base Horse Power, in otherwords like you said measured at the engine/crank, not the rear wheel?
          T.C.

The horsepower advertised by Yamaha is measured by the S.A.E. standard which is measured at the clutch. All manufactures use the same standard however instead of using a torque scale measured in ft.-lbs., most all non U.S. models use a torque scale measured in Newton meters (kg-m). Speaking of Barrett-Jackson, my Eleven is as slick as they come, better than new and with a lot more oats. One picture is worth a thousand words.

BHP = Brake Horsepower... power at the clutch/crank measured by a brake dynamometer.
