  • Vance & Hines 4 to 1 ?

    Hey fellas,

    Any1 have these, they are on ebay now,

    Am runnin 4 pod filters, & was wonderin if I can use them, & if,

    I will have to upgrade My carbs. Dropped a 80 special engine

    onto my 78 frame. Used 82 maxim carbs, that were stock, &

    was smokin all da hogs here in cleveland, all summer, lol.

    Will I need to rejet with the pipes, or what ??

    I didn't know Gixer pipes would fit the XS11....

      Hey Andy,

      It may depend on what your plugs look like now! If they are already almost bleach white, then you're probably running a bit lean, and the 4-1 pipes "MAY" cause it to run a bit leaner requiring a little rejetting.

      Hey Bubble, folks are finding GXR carbs to fit, why not pipes!

      The ad talks about a few dents, but says nothing about the massive RUST!

        For a little extra oomph.... swap the 80 cams with the '78 cams.

            plugs are brownish/ white, for the cam swap, just pop the top, & switch the cam, being careful to keep the new one in the same position ??

              Those are jardines...but still. New like that is a rare animal indeed. If i didn't already have a set of nice 'getti pipes I'd be really intersted in them.

                  Be sure to align the dot on the sprocket with the arrow on the cam cap...
                  Complete instruction in manuals.
