well got up this morning and started cleaning connection's. boy it that a job!things seem to work better have a few more connections to clean.tomarrow will finish that up.check battery voltage was showing 13.2@ 3,000 rpm is this okay ? i know on cars anything between 13.2~14.5 is acceptable. but not sure on bikes seems to me its a tad bit low I still have a flicker in the lighting cleaned all the grounds today except the one from the engine frame you know the one under the air box. well clean it in the morning hopefully that will make the flicker go away. If not probably looking at a new regulator/rectifier. or possiable a stator. will look and see if i can find a tech link for testing the stator.seems to me i saw one. Will change fuse box as well just to remove it from the list of possiable source's.
I know i have asked this before but sometimes i forget on my carbs this is what ive done to them
140 mains
45 pilots
needles in stock position am screws 1 1/2 turns out
floats 25mm
she is running a little richer than i like i can smelland see it in the exhaust
was thinking of going back to stock pilots or should i try moving the needles first and change my float level to see what that does or should i just leave it alone and drill holes in the airbox
