That is a fine looking maxim. I do love the lines on them. You say that is a stock seat I guess that answers the question about mine then. I have no pattern on mine so I guess it is a recover.
Thanks Olebiker...i love its lines too and the new white letter Dunlops make everything stand out better too.I get alot of positive comments from H-D riders too.It seems to have a muscular look to it and it sounds pretty darn mean too.
olebiker..cant quite remember now but there was only one aftermarket exhaust that would fit..I found it in a Dennis Kirk catalogue...when I recall it I 'll let you know
I dunno hows about 30 bucks shipped??? not trying to low ball you not really good at giving offers and not sure what your looking to get for it Im just thinking that you were gonna junk it at some point, that I would like to get a good deal for it, and that I will be spending a little bit more on some paint and plastic polish to make it even more road worthy. what do you think?
Damn! Crazy pics! whats even more crazier is how much I love the ST and XJR. I saw the XJR a while ago and wondered why I have not seen it before then did the research to find that it was indeed a bike not here in the states. It is a sweet ride indeed. When did you pick up the ST? I have a 600 suzuki bandit and enjoy touring on it. But I have longed for a full liter class tourer such as the ST but budget is always the key so Ive changed my focus on the Maxim. Im trying to get it all decked out for touring. Currently trying to hunt down a set of hard bags trunk windshield etc.
opflash only had the ST 3 months its a '95..its really a great long distance machine...very very smooth it has 36,000 miles just barely broken in by ST STandards....Olebiker ....now thats a thought...importing an XJR 1300... its amazing how much it looks like an updated XJ1100.Something timeless abt the style of the UJMs'.This bike has been in production since 2003!Too bad you cant get one here in the USA
