Hey Dave...Thanks ...yup stock seat and its low like 28" bike has 20586 original miles too!Actually the pix do it alot of justice...because you cant see the imperfections in the paint as it needs repaint...it just depends on the lighting and time of day LOL.The seat is just now starting to have some little tear in it.
nice ride indeed. Hey I noticed you had a windshield for your bike tell me a bit about the mounts. where did you find them? Thought i saw long time ago a company that made them but i know that too many are not available due to the square bars.
opflash; It has been soooooo long since I had that item bought I have lost track of where I got it from....I decided that after all these years I dont like it and I took it off and almost threw it away, but I did hang on to it...if your interested ...I would sell it...however i dont have a clue as to what i paid for it or what to sell it for..so a reasonable offer and its yours...I am trying to remember if it came from Yamaha or not...sorry dead brain cells ..no can access... anyway its in decent shape..let me know if you'd like it.Yeah the square bars are a bit odd but I also had an '82 Maxim XJ750 that had the same handlebars too.

The w.s. is tinted and meassures 17" tall by abt 17" at its widest point.Abt 9 1/2" down on the lef side is the worst scratch and it is abt 5 1/2 inches long it does n't look to bad.there are also other small scratches on it but nothing that is that bad or too noticeable. It has alot of different points to where it is adjustable and you can fiddle around with it to make it fit your bike the way you'd like it.Overall condition is good considering it's 24-25 yrs oldWhen mounted on my bike the bottom of it rests on the top of the headlamp.
Opflash here are some pix.... In the 2nd shot you can see the worst scratch,on the left side just above the blue backsplash on the wall behind the screen.
