Can't call mine a daily rider, wouldn't sell much health and life insurance, if I rode it to work, but 57,000 miles in 4 yrs. My brother has an '80 model, we left Atlanta, Ga. this past saturday at 11:00 am, rode to Panama City Beach, and back by Midnight. Around 550 miles of fast hard riding. No problems what so ever. wish i could call it a daily rider,
but unfortunately i have to drive
a cage as im self employed and its part
of my work, but when i finish work ill jump on her
as much as possible, so ill ride it most days.
its winter here now, so i use it weekends and
        the occasional afternoon ride.

Daily Rider, When possible, I ride to work and back, about 100 miles round trip. When the percent of rain and below 50% and the morning tempature is above 20 F. Unfortunatly I have been unable to ride for the last 2 months because I was having a new exhaust installed, when turn into an much larger repair. Anyways I have it back now and once I get the headlight working again (Wiring go bad, or Headlight relay), it will yet again become a daily rider thought out the year.
          Thanks

Mine is a daily ride, 90 miles per day. Usually when the rain chance is below 30%. I have ridden every month since I got her and in the winters I wear full coveralls under the leather and hippohands on the bars. (Kinda hard to think about winter now though!
I travel in my job and depending on how far, I have started taking her. I have a luggage rack and can put my suitcase in a waterproof duffle and my laptop backpack in a bag on the seat behind me. My longest work trip has been to Memphis. (about 260 miles one way) I put about 600 on her that trip.
I have a facility in Mountain City, TN and am planning on riding there. That's about 375 one way. Lots a twisties over there as well!
Yep, I have fallen in love with the old Half Breed. She and I really love crusiing.

Not a daily rider here in NW PA, but I commute (30mi round trip) whenever I can get the weather to cooperate. I take it for a no-destination spin a couple of times a week and usually do a couple of dice or poker runs per summer. I like to do one or two local runs and usually do the ZIPPO LIGHTER/CASE KNIFE run from Bradford. I like to run with 600+ other bikes (Mostly Harley) and show off my 80G. I dare to be XSive.

I DISPISE my car (Kia Rio), so once it's running straight, I'll be on it in anything other than snow and ice.

Bought the 81MNS 1 year ago. Put about 800 miles on her since. She doesn't have 2'nd gear and ratchets first so its not an easy ride, but I sure do like it. She'll be re-done this winter then will be a daily driver.

                    daily rider

My 80 special is a daily rider and play toy too she also is a rolling canvas to new ideas. I ride 126 miles 4 days a week and at freeway speeds so she gets to stretch her legs frequently.
