How many XJ's?
Anybody have an idea on how many of the XJ's were made in 1982. im just wondering how rare they are? -Joe

How Many???
I have two, serial #s 003998 & 004019 and my boy has one also. If anyone can find how many were made i would like to know also. I wrote a letter to Yamaha and ask this question and they said we do not give this information out to the general public. So anyone with pull in higher places can get this information we would really appreciate it.Thanks Tom

Makes me wonder how many were bought up North. Only sold here in '82, but two more years after that up in Canada aye?
It would be cool to somehow find out how many are registered and still on the road also.
I obviously have NO pull! lol.

P.S. I wonder how many there is just on here?? Surely anyone having one of these.. at one point or another has run across this site. It always came up first in Google or Yahoo when I was looking for anything.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

Mine was sold as an 83 and I've seen it listed as a XJ1100K . My serial number starts out 11G-XXXXXX . Looks like we had the Midnight Maxims in 82-84(in Canada) . I have never seen another one in person .XJ1100K
