    Hey Scootjak,

Check out THIS THREAD and PGGG's tip on bench synching by using the holes in the top of the carb bodies, much smaller opening than the breadstick!

ALso, make sure the all of the butterflies are actually closed when the throttle plate is slack! Sometimes, it hangs up on the intake mount clamps or such, so that even though the main idle screw is backed out so that it's NOT touching the throttle plate, the plate is hanging up and keeping the butterflies open too far=REDLINE!

Oh, I see now. For a second there I thought you were reporting that your engine is finally running properly, and revving right to redline with no problem. Yup, revving to redline at start-up with no throttle applied is not good. Like TC notes,. the bread tie sync method leaves all the butterflies open, which causes the over-revving problem you've experienced. Try again with a much finer wire, or try the 'holes' technique. Either way, you're still going to want to do a proper vacuum sync to get it truly sync'd and running poperly. The difference is truly amazing when you get it right.

Resynced last night and reinstalled this AM idled down and looks like a bit of fine tunning is all that is needed. Thanks T C the breab tie sync was way off from the fuel hole adjustment.
