    Okay Bear,

    Back to basics. REVIEW.
You've septupleted cleaned the carbs! Check.
You've verified that the vacuum slides and diaphragms are not leaking. Check
You've gotten rid of the Octy. Check

It will only fire on #4? You pull the bowl plug out and gas pours out of the carb bowls?? So...you are getting gas to the carbs. But gas isn't getting into the engine??

Are the fuel lines running to the LOWER "T" fittings only?

Are the upper "T" fittings VENTED to air,not capped off? Are the "T" fittings clear and open, as well as the hoses they are attached to for proper venting...folks have found fuel/grunge clogging the "Ts" and the vent hoses!!

Did you remove the Intake Manifolds, inspect for internal cracks? Then use gasket sealant/gasket to remount them to the engine.

Make sure the vacuum synch port caps on the intakes are not dry rotted/hardened/cracked and leaking=vacuum leak!

In your previous posts, the engine had been running on all 4 but with dirty carbs. But what else has changed beside cleaning the carbs, and removing the Octy? Ensure that fuel is getting to the carbs, then it's either the carbs, or boots!?
