I went on a 163 mile ride to the Northern Ontario Carb Clinic. It was fantastic . A lot of XJ's and some guys owned XS's , at least one a XS11 . They liked my bike . I learned how to synch my carbs with carb sticks and set the mixture with a color-tune plug . All the stories and advice you could eat too . Moral is since this trip I havent had the squeal that was bothering me . My front calipers were found to be binding and sticking . They both came off and were loosened up ,one getting different pads . Front brakes - what a concept . Gadgets galore as well - I lubed my throttle cable with a clamp that accepted a spray can's tube . Now I want to get one and do my clutch cable as it sometimes slips . Typers cramp . Peace . Axel
