      ride height

ride height can be adjusted by the top bracket. I am 6'2" so the highest point is perfect...how is your rebound when on really bumpy roads?

          comp. screw

I think top is compression, bottom is rebound....check out an R1 forum to be sure. I got lucky that the original shock owner was a big guy like me.....

Any way to get the early photos back? Even a link to their new location.

Here are some old pics of mine:

I just re-worked the bushings and used the stock shock locations. This was 1500 miles ago, and I have had no problems. I did turn the shock around from how Chop did it, so that I could access the clickers more easily. There would not be enough clearance to do this with a 140 rear tire, though, as the reservoir on the shock nearly touches the tire. You can see this clearance (kind of...) in the second picture.
Healthy is merely the slowest rate at which you can die

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba….Hunter S. Thompson

Thanks, that's a help. Of course I'm looking for the pic of the top mount so I can get the 1" (or more) height back.
                        Looking good on your bike!
