picked up my bike last night!

    A quart of gear lube will be more than enough. The middle drive will take 10 oz, and the book says that the final drive takes 10 oz also, but I can never get that much in it. I just fill it to just below the bottom of the the filler hole threads.

      yea, i did a little research and found thats what people have been saying

      i think im gonna make one of the dipsticks

      get a dollar store garbage can and cut my dipstick out of that

      im obsessed with changing all of my fluids now

      im scared to remove the allen head bolts, but im gonna go for it, should be alright, hopefully

        Let them soak in some PBlaster or other penetrating oil for a bit first.

          Make sure you can remove the filler plug BEFORE you remove the drain plug. It would suck to get it drained, and then discover that you can't fill it back up. At least his way you can still ride until you are able to remove the plug.

            gettin ready for another season

            chicago winter finally seems to be coming to an end

            its been an interesting one thats for sure

            just picked up some harley fatboy pipes off ebay, im pretty excited about that

            i drilled some holes in my stock pipes and im ready for a different sound this season

            ill update pics when i throw those 'new' pipes on

              Black plug in front

              is the chain tensioner. Most people new to these machines don't immediately identify that thing right away because these things run backwards compared to all the others. Be sure to check the manual before attempting to adjust.
