Got my new 4-1 mac yesterday and thought I'd throw it on tonight. However it doesn't make it tight up to the head 'cos the oil cooler pipes are in the way.
Can I:
1. Use a flexi steel pipe instead of the solid metal ones that I can then route to my fancy? If so do I need a special mating connection or can I just hacksaw of the metal pipe by the filter and secure the flexi to the stub? (This I think is my favorite option so far)
2. Bend the pipe and hence reposition them so that the exhaust clears them? - not sure this will work as I think that even if I move them to the side of the frame, there still won't be enough room and they will also rest against the exhaust.
3. Is there a kit designed for this and if so how much roughly?
As ever thanks in advance.
