    Wiring Diagram!

    Hey FredJohny,

Go or right click on this link and SAVE AS, it's a zipped PDF file of the XJ wiring diagram, should have the color codes on it as well. I think it's a B-W version but has the Yamaha wire color code letters next to the wires. Did you see the tech tip about how to bypass/remove your RLU?

          Hey Fred,

Yeah, that's true, but you can also D/L the wiring diagrams for one of the XS's, and review the wires involved in the tech tip to determine what each wire is...like power from the fuse box, etc., and apply that to the XJ wiring diagram you have so that you could figure out which wires to cut, which ones to join together, etc.! I know, a lot more work, but UNLESS Jerry=XJ guru has done it, then "WE" just don't have the info about it?

HOWEVER, IF you do figure it out, would be nice of you for the betterment of the XS-XJ community to post your results so that it could be added to that tech tip for other unfortunate XJ owners that suffer the RLU failure!

              Hey Fred,

I just editted this thread adding the XJ part. I just saw that JERRY, our XJ guru was one, but this thread must not have caught his eye, cause he didn't reply? That, or he may not know how to bypass the RLU on the XJ? I'll drop him a PM!
