A 2006 study found that the average Canadian walks about 900 miles per year.

Another study found that Canadians drink an average of 22 gallons of beer per year.

That means, on average, Canadians get approximately 41 miles per gallon

      gas 'n git

I've been pretty heavy on the throttle and only drove in town last tank, but I still got 32 MPG. That's 10 better thatn my cage. and nothings better than a 15 dollar fill up!

        My 78e manages 36 to 39 consistently.

Would be interesting to work out what it would do on a long haul without the usual wrist twist. Don't think i've ever had a tankful dissapear without some spirited riding. Just can't help myself

Running stock jets and no fairing, I get right at 40 with mixed driving.
Thought my low fuel light was quit when it hit 132 miles and still had not come on. PO told me 120 was the magic number, but he had a Vetter on it and probably drove slower. It did light up about a half block from the gas station though.
Ran from Dallas to Weatherford on the freeway once at 90 to 110 and got about 35.

My old '82 Virago 920 would pull 44 on the road.
It's a combination of: jetting, aerodynamics and speed.
          YMMV
