Bel Ray Grease question

I know there has been discussion on the forum about folks using Bel Ray grease on the driveshaft (inner splines and outer) and final drive.

I purchased Bel Ray Assembly Lube to put in the splines of the driveshaft and Bel Ray Water proof Grease for use thru the zerk fitting.

Am I off base with these?

We use Bel-Ray at work, as as that's all that's available for me to steal, I use it at home, too.

The zerk for lubing the driveshaft splines is useless. Whenever the back wheel is off just undo the 4 nuts and slather it with grease by hand. An XStra 5 minutes (if that) and you know it's done right.
The zerk will have grease fall onto the shaft, maybe on the splines, maybe not. As soon as you ride the bike the glob of grease will fling off to lube the inside of the shaft, not the splines.

Just got mine back together. Used Honda Moly 60 paste. That's what the dealer had and they said they use it on all their shaft drives.
After seeing where that zerk leads and listening to folks here, I plan on never using that fitting at all.
