Hose help with pics

    I must correct myself, my last post I mentioned the wrong hose. John is correct, there is no place to put the middle gear vent hose on the arbox. I was talking about the bigger (tranny/crank case/engine block) vent hose. ( of course the moderator is right!)

    My middle gear vent hose(smaller one) just runs up, open ended under my gas tank.

      Kewl.I kinda forgot to make the fist couple hoses i pulled off.lol .But yeah there is a bracket for the airbox that has a hook on it.

        The middle gear vent hose MUST be router UP. DO NOT ROUTE IT DOWN!!! BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN!!! DAMHIK, but Mason may remember my bike at our first meeting in Solvange.

          OH dear ... My mistake

          OH dear ... My mistake. I just checked my factory manual and YES INDEED this hose does go UP at the side of the air box. I never gave it a second look because that hose was down through the hose keeper on my original XS1100 the first time I did my own maintenance. Nothing happened as a result but I may have just been lucky.
