    Three smaller dowels...

So..I'm getting my engine cases ready to go back together, but I have 3 dowels that are smaller than the 3 oil galley dowels near the crankshaft...and I have no idea where they go... help?

Also, just how important is it to have both side locating dowels in the crankcase? One has seemingly gone MIA and I'm looking for it, but loosing hope...

Nevermind about the 2nd part - apparently I am a little moronic... when I split the cases 2+ months ago, the dowel fell out and I stuck it where I guessed it might go...it's now in the right place

Glad it only took us 20 minutes to get your predicament all sorted out.

My question is, are the bearings good, or did you need some of the other ones? and how soon until we ride together? I need to ride down the Atlantic coast!

My mind is getting a bit slower, but I'm glad I finally remembered that I had seen that stupid little thing

Ray - bearings are all good and my motor is mostly back together now. I didn't realize how late it was already so I'll ship the other bearings back in the morning.

After I complete break in, I'd be up for a nice long ride - always wanted to try the IBA's 50cc
