    It is not necessarily a problem, but may be a part of your current problem of running rich. Setting your floats to 25mm would sit the float a bit lower in the bowl, which would result in a slightly lower fuel level, which results in less fuel being sucked up the main jet. I adjusted Tsunami's floats by 2mm like this a few yeard back and got an immediate mileage increase of approx 10mpg (Imperial). This also eliminated the problem I was having with plugs running black and fouling at high elevation.

      I agree with Ken. It is a pain, but I like to use the float bowl levels to fine tune the jetting.
