Hasn't got here yet, but with coming over the border, it doesn't surprise me!

I have other little parts coming coming too, gaskets and what not, so not in too big a rush.

How does that breather come out? do I have to take the back wheel off?
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

The head arrived today! Thx Caferacer.

I have a friend that has all the equip to do complete valve jobs, so I am going to get him to do a once-over on it before I put it on the bike, while I wait for the Cam chain to get here.

Gasket set also arrived today, so he can put the new seals on for me.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

Thanks. Going to use the 2 1st over ring sets I got from you and buy 2 more sets for the other 2 cylinders.

I measured up the bores and the cylinders are well within spec, just need a light hone, for the the new rings, and will be all set.

I borrowed an Ammo tent from my local army unit so I have the bike covered and out of the weather.

            crazcnuk,

don't install the rings until you check the end gap, they may need to be filed and fitted (first and second rings only)

Yes, they will all have to be 'hand' fitted, with a file. That isn't anything new for me. Just takes a little time, but you get the right end gap all the time.
