I just changed the oil and I can't remember if the two tabs on the oil filter face the front or the rear. I tried looking it up but could not find anything. Thanks

I guess I will drain it and turn it around. The light has always come on before but just not as soon. It also would come on then go back off but never just came on and stayed on. So to ease my mind I will turn it around. Thanks for the help.

Low pressure
Happy, if that was mine I'd be finding a way to hook up a direct reading oil pressure gage and make sure I have oil pressure. You can get a cheep gage at the auto parts store and some fittings. rather safe thanwingnut

.. it sounds like to me that it might be the ol circlip fell off of the oil gear trick again.
.. or maybe just the oil sending unit is a little gummed up.
thats an easy one, just remove the unit and clean it out real good with break cleaner. if you are a smart guy with tools you can figure out how to test your unit
yes Prometheus, I said Unit!
